OUR CAMPAIGN

OBSERVE, ADMIRE, PROTECT

This campaign was initially designed to promote a sustainable dolphin watching in the Archipelago of Bocas del Toro. The campaign included visits to the primary public schools of the Archipelago of Bocas and workshops addressed to captains and tour operators.

With the increase of the whale watching activity in Panama, we extended the campaign and in 2016 and 2017, in collaboration with UMIP, Isthmian Adventures and MiAmbiente we developed two workshops to promote the Code of conduct for a Responsible whale watching activity in Panama. We trained Captains and Naturalist guides in biology, behavior and conservation of marine mammals.
